Better Outcomes for Every Student
Reading and literacy are foundational — every strategy starts there. I'll keep pushing to expand what's already working, not just talk about it.
- Prioritize early literacy instruction districtwide, not just in a few classrooms
- Expand proven access programs like 8th-grade algebra and the new TK–8 Mandarin Immersion school
- Ground instructional decisions in data, not politics

Families should be able to see and understand how decisions about their kids' schools actually get made.
- Keep community voices — from every neighborhood, not just the loudest ones — part of district direction
- Push for budget clarity families can actually follow
- Make sure input from parents, teachers, and students shapes real decisions, not just meetings

I've spent years as an independent watchdog for this district, and I'd bring that same discipline to the Board.

- Show up: in classrooms, in audit meetings, and in every neighborhood, not just one
